Daegu Technopark was founded in 1998 to support small and medium sized companies. Daegu Technopark has played a pivotal role in setting up industry development strategy including the Daegu City Development Road Map and Regional Strategic Industry Promotion Plan. It also has taken the initiative in developing Daegu's next generation industry through developing infrastructure, technology and training human resources for strategically developed industries like nano, mobile, bio and oriental medicine.
